A Buddhist meditation on life and death

The Delphi Network is holding a special event on the evening of October 25th to discuss fundamental questions about life, and the end of it, with lay Buddhist monk Waku Miller as its keynote speaker.

What is a life well-lived? Is there a best way to die? Do we think enough of our emotional and spiritual legacy as well as the financial and professional one? Why are we so shocked by death even though it is unavoidable? Who do we hope will mourn us? What might lie on ‘the other side’?

To guide us through these existential issues, Waku will give us a Buddhist interpretation on the cycle of life and death. The presentation will last about 30 minutes, followed by the opportunity to ask questions and exchange experiences and thoughts with other attendees.

Date: October 25th 2016
Time: 07:00 – 8:30pm
Price: Given its unusual nature, there is no fee for this event.
Place: Ginza 1-13-8, 6F, Habiulu Ginza Building, Tokyo 〒104-0061 Japan

The entrance to the building is between an Italian men’s clothes shop BELVA and an Italian restaurant ISOLA BLU. There is also a gelato shop a 100 yards south-west of the building, so the whole street has rather an Italian theme. Please go to the back of the building for the lift, and press the intercom. Any problems call Dan Slater on 080 205 70609, or Rosie on 070 2803 4217.

A Delphi Network selection of wine will be served.
